    Flop - the Apple Newton: Ahead of it's time as a PDA, in fact was created before the term PDA was even coined. Mac intended to change the face of personal computing, then tried to force it into the PDA mold, neither of which was succesful. Lasted from 1993-98.

    Success - Silk (brand of soy milk): According to Wikipedia, Silk's founder, Steve Demos, had his innovative vision during a period of time when he was living in a cave in India. It's been around since 1996 and owns 75% of the US soy milk market.

    I made it here by typing the web address directly into my browser. For some reason I still cannot access the site from Blackboard and I get a message stating "blog is not defined." Any suggestions?
